Today we make aloo bhindi sabji. This sabji is so tasty in eating. This sabji made with potato, lady finger, onion, coriander leaves and spices. Aloo bhindi sabji is eating with paratha, roti and poori. I like aloo bhindi with poori. So let me start how to make aloo bhindi sabji at home.
- 150 gms Potatoes (Aloo)
- 150 gms Lady’s finger (Bhindi)
- 1 Onion (Pyaz)
- ¼ Tsp dry mango powder (Amchur Powder)
- ¼ Tsp Garam Masala Powder
- ¼ Tbsp Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch Powder)
- ¼ Tsp Dhania Powder
- 1 Tsp Garlic Chopped (Lahsun)
- ½ Tbsp Chilli .
- 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi Powder)
- 1½ Tbsp Oil (Tel)
- Salt to Taste
Firstly, wash the potatoes and lady’s finger. Peel and cut the potatoes in long pieces. Keep a side. The lady’s finger clean with a cloth and cut into the medium size and keep a side. Peel and cut the onion. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seed, when seeds start to crackle then add garlic and cook few seconds. Add green chilli, onion and cook 1 minute. Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix well. Now add chopped potato and sprinkle little salt and cook it. The potato is half cooked them add chopped lady’s finger and cook it. Add salt, dry mango powder, coriander powder and mix well. Remove the flame and add chopped coriander leaves. So look your tasty aloo bhindi sabji is ready. Transfer to a serving plate and serve with paratha, poori, roti or bhakhari
