I share with you suji masala idli recipe. This recipe is perfect for your health. Suji idli is light on the stomach. This idli is low in fat. This recipe is very quick and easy to make. Suji masala idli is one of my favorite teatime snack. This batter in you can add vegetable. Suji idli is making in some ingredients. You can pack this idli in lunch box and good heavy snack for traveling. This idli made in semolina, curd, mustard seeds, green chilies, coriander leaves. So let’s see how to make Suji Masala Idli.
- 500 gm Semolina (suji)
- 1 ½ cup Curd (Dahi)
- 1/2 cup Green Chilli, chopped (Hari mirch)
- 3/4 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi Powder)
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (Hara Dhaniya)
- 1/2 tsp Fruit salt
- 4 to 5 Curry leaves
- 1tsp Mustard Seeds (Sarso)
- 1 ¼ tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
Firstly, take a bowl. Put in the semolina, curd, turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Add water and mix well. Keep a side for 5 to 7 minutes. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds when seeds start to crackle add curry leaves, add the green chillies and saute. Now this tempering put in the semolina mixture and mix with spoon. Add the fruit salt, coriander leaves, and mix well. Take a idli mould and grease the idli mould with oil. Some batter pour into each idli mould, and steam for 15 to 17 minutes. Insert a knife to check if idli is ready. If the knife comes out clean, the idli is ready. Remove the flame. Take out the mould and remove the idli. Same ways prepare all idli for the remaining mixture. So prepare your soft and tasty Suji Masala Idli. Now serve with serving plate, and eat with sambar and chutney.
