Aloo Tikki Recipe | How to make Tikki at Home | Easy to make Pattis

Allo tikki is Indian street food. Aloo tikki is known as aloo patties. Aloo tikki is popular in north india. They are using many chaat recipes. I planned for a chaat recipe coming soon using the tikkies. Aloo tikki is served with tomato ketchup, green chutney. This tikki made in potato, green peas,aamchur powder, corn starch, lemon juice, chaat masala, with dry spices. Aloo tikki made in potatoes, green pease and spice. Boil the potatoes and green piece. Mix all ingredients and make a tikki and coat bread crumbs and deep fry it. You can eat aloo tikki in your fast but don’t use bread crumbs and green pease. This tikki eat with chutney then its taste amazing. This tikki so easy to make. You try this recipe. So let see how to make aloo tikki (pattis) at home.

 Ingredients :-

  • 4 Potatoes (Aloo)
  • 1 cup Boiled, Green Pease (Hare Matar ke dane)
  • 1 tbsp Green Chillies Paste (Hari Mirch)
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1  tbsp Lemon Juice (Nimbu ka ras)
  • 1/2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch Powder)
  • 1/2 tsp dry Mango Powder (Aamchur Powder)
  • Pinch of Turmeric Powder (Haldi Powder)
  • Pinch of Asafetida (Hing)
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp Chatt Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
  • Salt to Taste (Namak)
  • As Required Oil (Tel)

Method :-

Boil the potatoes and green peas. Peel the boil potatoes. Mash the boil potatoes and green peace. Add green chilli paste, red chilli powder, mango powder, lemon juice, asafetida, chaat masala, garam masala, salt, turmeric powder, cornstarch and mix well. Divide it into equal portions and make round and flatten on your palm and make tikkis. Same ways prepare all tikkis. Take a plate, put in bread crumbs and spread it. Now coat the tikkis both sides. Keep a side. Heat oil in a pan. The aloo tikki shallow fry in hot oil on medium flame until they are becomes brown in color. When one side tikki is cooked, turn over and fry other side. Same ways shallow fry all tikkis and keep a side. Transfer on a tissue paper and excess extra oil. So prepare your allo tikki (patties). Server curd, tomato sauce, green chutney or any chutney or you can use this tikkis in any chaat recipes.
