I share with you Dry fruits chikki. This is a very healthy recipe. Indian dry fruits chikki made by cooking dry fruits with grated Jaggery. Dry fruits chikki, Jaggery, replaces sugar in this dry fruit chikki loaded with vitamin, iron. This is a very easy to make. Dry fruit chikki is a popular of tradition already to eat Indian candy. Though mixed nuts chikki is not a recipe which we make for diwali at our home but I have heard from a few of my friends that they make this during Diwali of Holi. This chikki eat your kids will love it. Learn how to make dry fruit chikki.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup thinly sliced Almonds (badam)
  • ½ cup thinly Cashew nut (Kaju)
  • ¼ cup Pistachio, chopped (pista)
  • ½ cup grated Jaggery (gud)
  • 3 tbsp Ghee

Method:

Roast the all dry fruits (nut) in a pan for 2-3 minutes in a medium flame. A take a pan and put ghee and heat it, when ghee it melts add grated jaggery and cook on a slow flame till the jaggery melts and caramelizes, while stirring continuously. Remove from the roasted almonds, cashews and pistachio nuts and mix thoroughly. Take a thali and grease with ghee. Pour the mixture on a greased thali. And spread too thin layer. (Ghee greased the scrolling pin too. Roll it into every sheet). When it cools, cut into pieces store in airtight container. So prepare your easy and healthy recipe dry fruit chikki.

You can add raising and unstapled de-skinned peanuts.
