Oats Ke Dahi Vada Recipe | Oats Ke Dahi Bhalla Recipe

I share with you Oats ke dahi vada or Oats ke dahi bhalla recipe. Oats Dahi vada is healthy recipe. The oats further add fibre making them more nourishing. Every healthy eating enthusiast must experiment with oats for nutritious and tasty oats recipes. This is why Indian food can greatly benefit from some oats every now and then. So today I share this yummy and healthy recipe of Oats Dhi Vada or Dahi Bhalla.

Ingredients:-

For The Vadas:-

  • 25 gm Roasted and powdered Oats
  • 250 gm Split black lentils (Urad dal)
  • 50 gm Split green gram (Green Moong dal)
  • ¼ tsp Baking powder
  • Oil for greasing
  • Salt to taste

For The Curd Mixture:-

  • 250 gm Curd 0r Yoghurt
  • Salt to taste

Other Ingredients:-

  • 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp Roasted Cumin powder
  • Salt to taste

Method:-

Wash and soaked Urad Dal and Moong Dal for overnight. Next day the Urad dal and Moong dal  wash and grind with grinder and make a fine paste. Add salt and ferment for 4 to 5 hours. After 4 to 5 hours add Oats powder and whisk it till light. Add Baking powder and mix well. Grease the appam molds or idli molds with a little Oil and pour approximately the batter into each grooves. Cover with lid and let cook on the medium flame for until golden brown or 4 to 5 minutes. Turn each bhalla upside down and cook on the other side for another 3 to 4 minutes. Same ways prepare all bhallas. Now soak vada in luke warm water till soft and squeeze out water. Remove the bowl and keep a side.

How to Proceed:-

Place 4 to 5 Bhalla or Vada in serving plate and spread little of salted Curds over them. Sprinkle little Cumin powder and red Chilli powder over it. Serv immediately.  So prepare your Oats Dahi Vada or Oats Dahi Bhalla. Eat with spoon and enjoy with your family.
