Banana raita is a part of Indian cuisine. It is rich in flavour and texture. You can eat it with rice, poori, chapatti, paratha or can eat alone. Occurs some sweetness in the taste of the banana raita. Banana raita seems so delicious in eat. You are eat by making your children it raita, This raita sure make and eat your children. I am sure your children like this raita, and they are more it. So let’s see how to make banana raita.
- 1 cup Yogurt (Dahi)
- 1/2 Banana (Kela)
- 1 ½ tsp Sugar Powder (Chini Powder)
- 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds (Bhuna hua Jeera)
- 1 tsp Coriander leaves (Hara Dhania)
- Pinch Black Pepper Powder (Kali Mirch Powder)
- Black Salt to taste (Kala Namak)
For Tadka :-
- 1/4 tsp Sesame Seeds (Til)
- 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds (Sarso)
- Few drops Oil
Firstly, peel and chopped the banana. Take a bowl. Put in yogurt and whisk it and make smooth. Add sugar powder, black pepper powder, black salt, little roasted cumin seeds and mix well. Add chopped banana pieces, and mix with spoon. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Remove in a bowl. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, sesame seeds when crackle the seeds remove the flame and pour the temper over the banana raita and sprinkle roasted cumin seeds. Garnish with banana slice. Keep in refrigerator for 20 minutes. So enjoy yummy chilled banana raita.
