- 2 ½ cups Rice (Chawal)
- ½ cup Coconut milk (Nariyal ka doodh)
- 1 small stick Cinnamon (Dalchini)
- 1tsp Mustard seeds (Sarson ke dane)
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves (Hara dhania)
- 1 ½ cup grated Coconut fresh (Kasa hua nariyal)
- 2 to 3 Cardamoms (Elaichi)
- 1 tsp Green chilli (Hari mirch)
- 2 to 3 Cloves (Laung)
- ¼ cup Onion, sliced (Pyaz)
- 1 ½ tbsp Oil (Tel)
- Salt to taste
- Coconut fresh, grated
Firstly, rinse and Soak the Rice in water for about 15 to 20 minutes. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, Cinnamon stick, Cloves, Cardamom and sauté. Add the Green chilli, Onion. Fry till the onion becomes translucent. Add the grated coconut, coconut milk mix well and cook for some seconds. Add rice, water and salt to taste mix well and pressure cook for 1 to 2 whistles. Allow the steam to escape before opening. Add coriander leaves and mix well. So prepare your Coconut Pulao. Coconut Pulao transfer to a serving plate. And garnish with grated coconut.
