Aloo Tikki Burger | How to Make Burger at Home | Easy Burger Recipe

I share with you tikki burger recipe. The patty is so delicious and you will realize as the first bite. Tikki burger is making with potato, green peas with spices. You can make any new variation in a burger. The burger is served with french fries or potato chips. Fresh veggies as a topping give crunchy and fresh flavors to the burger. Tikki burger is healthy burger. I eat always homemade burger. Homemade fast food is always healthy and so delicious. The spread and topping for this burger are very common. I make vegetable tikki burger; it is so delicious in every bite. Tikki burger is light food. This burger is a yummy combination of the aloo tikki and soft bun. So let’s see how to make tikki (pattis) burger at home.

Ingredients:

  • 5 Burger Bun

 For The Tikkis

  • 2 Potatoes (Aloo)
  • 3/4 cup Boiled, Green Pease (Hare Matar)
  • 1 tbsp Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
  • 1/2  tbsp Lemon Juice (Nimbu Ka Ras)
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch Powder)
  • ½ cup Bread Crumbs
  • 2 tsp Chatt Masala
  • Salt to Taste (Namak)
  • As required Oil (Tel)

For The Topping

  • ½ cup Tomato Ketchup
  • 5 to 6 Tomato Sliced
  • 5 to 6 Onion Sliced
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise

 Method

  Boil the potatoes and green peas. Peel the boil potatoes. Now mash the boil potatoes and green peace. Add all tikki ingredients and mix well (without breadcrumbs). Divide it into equal portions and make round and flatten, make patties shape and burger bun size. Same ways prepare all tikkis. Take a plate, put in breadcrumbs and coat the patties both sides. Keep a side. Heat oil in a pan. The aloo tikki shallow fry in hot oil on medium flame until they are becomes brown in color. Turn the tikki and both side cook it. Same ways shallow fry all tikkis and keep a side. Again little oil heat in pan and toast the burger buns from both the side. Cut each burger bun into two half. Take bottom base of bun and spread mayonnaise over it.  Place on the patties. Spread tomato ketchup on patties. Now place the tomato slice on top of the patties and place onion slice. Again little spread the mayonnaise and ketchup. Close the burger with next half cut top bun base and press with a hand lightly. So prepare your tikki (patties) burger. Serve hot burger with mayonnaise, potato chips or french fries.
